🏥 In a reversal, respite care home Newton House - the only local facility providing breaks for carers looking after young people with learning disabilities and autism - is set to remain open until September next year, reports the BBC.
🗣️ A new regional Citizen’s Assembly launches this week to shape the future of arts and culture in the west of England, reports Somerset Live. From Monday, invitations will be sent to 15,000 randomly chosen households to find 52 participants for Citizens for Culture.
